What size vibrant resonators to get close to stock?

I recently purchased a used 2011 e90, and the previous owner did a resonator delete on the stock x-pipe. With the Borla S-Type on the car, the drone from 1500-2500 RPMs is deafening. I haven’t had much luck finding another x-pipe used, so now I’m considering picking up some vibrant resonators and having them welded in where the originals were cut out. Can anyone provide info on what model/size I should be considering?

Doubtful a resonator will make you completely happy. Testet the Borla S (as well as ATAK) on my otherwise stock exhaust, the S system is designed to be (IMO) crazy bassy up to 2.5k while not that nice sounding after. Simply didn't work out for my ears nor head, prewarned the buyer and sold it for cheap.

Thanks all - I’m going to get the 2.5” Vibrants, ordered both the ultra quiet and the bottles, will try the ultra quiets for fitment and use the bottles if they don’t and return whatever I don’t use.

Helmsman - I was thinking the same thing - the exhaust just isn’t a fit for what I want, so going to look at the Corsa and the MPE as a replacement. Are you still running the modified OEM?

Ha, actually back to my un modded box since my modded started to rattle. And what do you know...turns out I really like it. Thought it was way to quiet earlier but now enjoy the induct snarl, whine and other noises. Will go back modded at some point.
