X pipe recommendation

Looking for an x pipe to pair up with my OEM 4 pipe mod. Leaning towards the bimmerworld resonated but would be ok with the resonator less version as it's not my daily. I'm hoping the forward x of the bimmerworld would give me a higher pitched note. Eventually, I'll get a Corsa but for now I enjoy the 4 pipe mod.

Thoughts ?

I am running the bimmerworld dual resonated x pipe with gintani sport rear section. it is loud but not crazy loud like some ipe setups. There's still moderate drone in the 2000-2500 rpm range. I would guess without resonators there will be more drone.

Thank you. I may just bite the bullet and purchase.

just got mine put on last week (resonated secondaries) . Paired with the Megan exhaust. Little bit of drone but nothing major im my opinion. A little more rasp than i wanted at 2k-3k rpm but cant really do anything about that. I havent had anyone else drive the car so havent heard it personally from the outside. so far, i think it was a good buy.

I just ordered a quad resonated xpipe but have yet to install it. It certainly gives you the least raspy tone for a catless setup. Depends what you want.

Did you order from Redline in the vendor section? Really torn between the 2x or 4x resonated version.

No I ordered from the top speed web site and had a 10% off promo code so it was like 750 shipped. They have non resident, dual res and quad res. The quad being the most expensive. I know people with the pipe and have been told the fitment is perfect. I will know this weekend.

thats the one i wanted initially, but read lots of reports of the front resonators hitting the surfaces. that along with the placement of the "x" on the bimmerworld pipe sold me.

Definitely let us know how you like the Top speed x-pipe!

The Macht Schnell x-pipe is good for about 20whp and doesnt sacrifice ground clearance. We have done a tone of them and everyone has been very happy with the gains.

Where's the promo code? Which muffler are you running?

Should be similar to this car with mpe and the xpipe https://youtu.be/_8wwDAgH5iQ

There are probably other vids. Search YouTube. Watch the videos using headphones to better hear how it sounds
