HELP: Desperately need a referral to any shop in north jersey that does angel eyes?
Hi people,
In a nutshell, I had 6000k HID Angel eyes installed in to my e92 M3. They worked great for about 7 months, then the problems started to happen. One side just kept going out. The guy that originally installed them told me it was a bad ground. So, I took it to Autocouture in NJ for a 2nd opinion. They took a look and were uphalled at the job the original installer did. The parts were corroded and basically were generic pieces straight out of china.(I'm asian so no, i'm not making a racist remark). In any case, Auto Couture took the lights out and completely disabled my angel eyes which is fine. My headlights still work. Here's my problem. I've waited over 2 weeks now and the dude is stil telling me that he's waiting for my angel eyes to come in. 2 weeks? How long does it take to ship and order these. NO disprespect to them, they are very friendly, seem to know what they're doing, but just taking WAY TOO LONG. Does anyone out there know of anywhere else in north jersey or NYC that can do this job? Any help would be GREAT. Thanks a million |

Which hid kit do you have? I've been waiting over a month for mine which is defective, and I also mention that I purchased generic ballasts for my other car and coincedently they are the same as my angel eye kit

I haven't the slightest clue. I just know they were GARBAGE! I;m not a real technical guy, but I remember the guy mentioning something about the "ballasts" being generic and that I should've punched the dude who originally installed that garbage in the face.
