I need to drive a Civic for a week..
..because the M3 is starting to feel slow to me.
Who else got bored with the power your M3 makes, how long did it take you, and what did you do to regain the excitement of driving this thing? Now I know the M3 isn't the fastest car on the streets. There are dozens of cars that will beat it. But in terms of an every day car it's pretty fast IMHO. It can beat 98% of the cars you will see on the street on any given day. When I first got mine 4 months ago, I appreciated it's power more than I do now. It just seems boring to me lately. Not to say I don't still love the car. It's amazing, and I wouldn't trade it for anything this side of $100k, but short of supercharging it, what can I do to feel like I am driving something impressive again? |

I drive a civic everyday as my daily. I guess that helps me fall in love with the ///M more everytime I pull it out of the garage
That said, can't wait for spring to arrive so I get back into it |

Come to houston I will let you drive my smart car 1 ltr 3 cylinder 89 hp always keeps my ///M fresh. But if you frequent any car you will get numb to it after time. Like my e63 M6 (pre smart car) I drove that car every single day for almost 6 months and felt the same way.

You'll never be satisfied with speed. You'll sell the M3 to someone who appreciates it for what it is (and isn't), get something faster, and be bored with it, it's a disease. Go drive something slower everyday and you'll appreciate her all over again.

I am planning a trip to the Ring in April when the weather warms up. I have a feeling I would buy an M5 or M6 (or any other car) be happy with it's power for a month, then feel exactly as I do about the M3. I think thekurgan has laid it out pretty simple.

I have a 2012 Ford Taurus as a company car that I drive 5 days a week, so I have no problem with the M3 feeling fast.

Yeah, I still jones for the V10 power, but I am satisfied with the M3 power delivery. A couple of times around the ring and you will be back in love again bro.

Happens with every car...you could be driving a 458 and it'd feel slow after a while if you drove it everyday.

yep, also applies to women, I could be married to Heidi Klum for 5 years and probably would be tired of bangin' that and looking around, just how human nature goes I suppose.

I had 96 civic with an Engine from a Acura Rsx...it put down 245 hp all motor and it was fast...it's all about the power to weight ratio...add some bolt-ons upgrade the ecu...then get a dyno
