RebuildUSA throttle actuators

Rebuild-USA and Rebuild-UK are no longer in partnership but we will still be honoring all warranties. Thank you to some of the members here for your support who have been very helpful during the past few months making this happen.

Hey thank you for the referrals and the purchases guys, it has been much appreciated.
To answer a few questions I have been getting…

Yes we do purchase used actuators.
We need them for rebuilds as sometimes customers take a while returning their cores due to unforeseen issues like scheduling with their mechanics etc…

Yes, we do ship the SAME day that you order and we refund the core charges when we receive the actuators the SAME day we receive the cores back. Those two things will never change.

Thank you again M-Post community.

Are these those rebuilt actuators that use metal bits instead of the plastic ones inside?

Does anyone know if anyone has ever had to replace them after switching to these?

They are not metal gears. Per Jason they are nylon plastic with additives in the mix to make high Performance Ultra strong long lasting gears superior to the OEM gears that we know have a history of wearing out. Below is a photo of his mould from his FB page.

If an actuator does go bad, which is fairly rare but does happen from time to time the customer typically wouldn't know the reason as the actuators have a UPC seal at the bottom of them which void the warranty if the unit is tampered with. Per Jason, since he started making the new gears, when he does receive units back under warranty the issue is related to the board.
As an FYI a customer recently purchased an actuator from me and when I received the core back their old unit has a build date of 2017 on it. Without opening the unit I can feel the tension when turning the tab which tells me this unit failed due to the gear.

I was just asked about a discount to purchase an actuator. I made up two discount codes. One is for $20 off for a single unit and the other is $30 off for two units. These will be good for 24hours. PM me for discount code.

So that was a 4 to 5 year old unit that has failed due to VDO etc… Still using plastic gears.
Go with http://rebuild-usa.com made by Rebuild.org.uk and you won't have to worry again.
Do the actuators get tested before they're shipped to avoid faults after installation?

Hey Rt16 yes Jason does test every unit. He does have an M5 for testing the units also. M3/5/6 all being interchangeable. Have you had an issue in the past or for future reference?

Check out a buddies insta page for his vehicle shipping company. Steele is a solid guy who respects every vehicle and customer interaction as if it were his own. I do have a link from my website but a few people have asked for his link so here it is below.

I want to thank several of you (names omitted) for your ideas and linking me directly to some well known parts companies. So far two of the companies I spoke to have agreed verbally to allow me to represent them. I was happy to hear from both companies that they are more concerned about providing good customer service for them than worrying about how many widgets I/we sell. I am well aware that the M community doesn't NEED another parts company so I will offer the best customer service I can to earn your M parts business.

That's good to hear.
No issues but currently stationed in Germany and I'll have to ship the car back to Hawaii in 2 weeks after it's done from the shop. While I get moved to Korea for a bit. But right out the shop, I wanted to be able to drive the car hard while I'm still in Germany and fix any issues it might have before I ship it out.
Say I would like to have it delivered by March 11. How soon can I have it shipped? Kind of takes 2 weeks to get from the states to the bases here using USPS.
I could potentially ship out 4 cores but it might just be my 2.

Thank you again for your service especially at these times. Come home safe brother.

And just like CNN I'll throw a commercial sponsor in the middle of… You can google it.

I will be offering a tune as of tomorrow. Should be pretty obvious who's tune I will be offering as it has been two years coming. Alex@Alpine thank you for allowing me to join the AlpineMSS family.
