S65 from Manual to DCT
I have a 2011 DCT with a blown motor and was wondering if anyone has swapped a s65 out of a DCT/Manual and put it into a car with the other transmission? I'm guessing just the flywheel/flexplate would need to be swapped with one another.

The rear diffs have different ratios between the DCT and the 6MT as well...

If you are asking if a long-block from a DCT car will work in a car with a 6MT the answer is yes. The engine will not care what transmission is connected. You will need to swap the flywheel and clutch assembly to match your car's transmission as you stated.

Yes we have done it before, just swapped the flexplate and was good to go.
