I don't think it will make enough difference.
When I had mine redone, I had half or each of the "larger" perforated pipes covered and it made very little difference.
If I was going to get it done again I would try covering 3/4 of the two larger perforated pipes and leave the other 2 smaller ones uncovered.

Did you have test pipes when you had it done? My car is already louder than a factory M3 because of my pipes and am really only looking for a little more grunt. I decided against having the muffler ceramic coated like I did the other so that I can cut it open again if needed.
