Just got my car back today and as soon as I started her up, I could hear the difference. I think the RKP street with MPE 2 is a really good combo as far as sound. Didn't notice any droning. I can definitely hear a lot more on the freeway cruising at 80mph. Really like how it sounds with the windows down and in the low gears and even better when I opened it up. Will find some time this week to take it for a nice drive.

Feels like there's a little more power on the low end too but that could be in my head. When I go driving again I'll pay more attention to it.

I recorded video of the car before the install so will record how it sounds now in the next few days.

Nice. Im considering this combo, as well. Will keep an eye out for your video. If you had to put a number on it, how much louder than the MPE alone?

What is the install like? Does it require cutting and welding?

It's noticeably louder but nothing too crazy. From 1 to 10, if MPE was a 4, with the x pipe, maybe a 6.

I bought a pair of primary cats for cheap but unfortunately they were cut too short so ended up just getting mine cut. Don't have to weld it but it's an option. Picture shows the RKP Street X Pipe with the cats I bought.

If you're running just the rear Akrapovic Slip-On System, yes the x-pipe is designed to replace the factory unit.

Plan to do some before and after video comparisons. Not sure how long it will take if the x pipes are on back order though.
Do you still have the MPE + RKP setup on your car? If so I'd love the opportunity to hear it in person. Im in Rocklin.
