Soon to be first time E92 M3 Owner!
I'm picking up my E92 M3 this Friday in Florida.
We sold my Boxster this spring and I have conducted a nationwide search for my new weekend toy ever since. I owned an E90 (328i) for a couple of years. Still my favorite car that I've owned. Even up against the Boxster and (Holden) Chevrolet SS. The E9x M3 has been on my automobile bucket-list for a long time. I went back and forth between a new M235 or an E9x M car. Decided it was probably now or never to get a clean example of the best version of the best car I've owned; at least while keeping it in my budget for a weekend ride. After several swings and misses on other cars, I found a 2008 E92 with 45k miles and immaculate service history and at a more than reasonable price. |

Congrats. I had an M235 convertible (which I loved to be honest) - it was a fantastic daily driver. I just picked up an E90 since I needed a 4 door and just wanted something that was a little softer and felt a little more special than the F80.
I might still find myself in an F80 M3 CS when the time is right, but it's a great car and it certainly has that intangible steering and motor feeling that you just don't get anymore. For me I will gladly trade off the low end torque for those bits that make it feel special.

Nothing like a 700 mile trip to get to know your new car! The car was everything the seller said it was; pristine condition!
Landed in West Palm Beach Friday night at 7pm, signed the title and hit the road. This car is freaking AMAZING!!! Nothing could have prepared me for what driving the DCT would be like though. For someone who loves a third pedal, but can't do it anymore, there is nothing like the feel of this car. I also have so much to learn about maximizing the DCT and adjusting all the custom settings to my preferences. I'm so glad I chose this over the M235i. |

Congratulations! Space Grey rocks, great choice and beautiful car. Enjoy and care for that motor! Just about a year ago I was picking mine up and doing a similar (1,000mi) drive home.
Look in to some Avant Garde M359 replicas perhaps - changes the look of the car completely and are reasonably priced.

First mod will be tinting the windows! Wifey agrees to do that one ASAP. I promised the wife I wouldn't jump straight into modding it. Convinced her to do a BMW over a Toyobaru because those would need too many mods. |

Those wheels do look good, and I'm jealous you got the red interior! I wanted that badly, but couldn't be patient enough to find one in the right condition with the red interior that was also in my price range. If I decide to get heavy into mods (and not leave it unmolested as it sits currently), I may look into putting red leather in it down the road. |

'Now or never' was the right thought process for this type of car.
Congrats & welcome!

And thanks man. I love the Fox Red/Space Grey combo. Honestly I just got lucky. I was only looking for about two months and this spec popped up in Virginia so I jumped on it.
