Another E91 M3 wagon build
I know I know that you guys have seen these builds but I wanted to just document and share. This will be a full M3 conversion like how it should have come from factory with a couple upgardes. I guess we can call it OEM plus
Vehicle: 2011 Tasman Green w/ Rotbraun interior So originally when I started I sourced all the parts since I couldn't find a donor. But since then, I've found a donor so here it is. Donor: 2009 6mt e90 m3 Last edited by 1NOMAD; 05-19-2021 at 09:06 AM.. |

So I went ahead and purchased all new OEM parts from brackets to panels. The only thing brand new I didn't go with was the rear quarters (found a donor) and the rear bumper since it was going to be fused anyways. Also decided to go with headlights from Bayoptiks.
So first was the rear quarters to be cut and rewelded. Last edited by 1NOMAD; 05-19-2021 at 09:05 AM.. |

Adjusting all the the pieces together. Decided to go with Bayoptiks headlights cause I have them on my e90 m3 and love them. The body shop mixed up my request about painting the hood vents black and the bumper reflector deletes stock and decided it to do it the opposite. lol

Nice. Looks like Heinekin should sponsor your shop lol.
Thats a really interesting color, don't think I've ever actually seen it in the flesh. It feels a bit more sleeper for sure.

Just a rough test fit of everything before going to my buddies over at Precisions Dynamics in Costa Mesa for the engine swap and everything else M3 related.

Great progress.
What's the labor cost of doing the rear end?? Body work and paint. As well as fusing the rear bumpers. This is something I will need to do to my wagon. |

You're looking at over 10k....plus you have to buy all the big and small parts to make everything work which I spent over 6k on just parts alone....if I had a donor I'm sure parts wouldn't have been so bad but at the time I couldn't find a donor that was worth buying
