Throttle Actuators around 195000. i rebuilt one and bought a new one too. Tried rebuilding both but electronics on one were shot.

Rod bearings at 147000 by Lang Racing in Irvine, California.

Lots of Michelin tires.

Just 2 sets of tyres?
Btw, how long have you had the car? (time/mileage).

Lang seem like an exceptional company. You're lucky to have them nearby. Congratulations on the 220,000 miles. Well done. Great to know. It's inspirational. I am still on the original T.A.s - but if I ever need any new ones I plan to buy from BOOF-M3 's company affiliation. Lots of Michelins too.

Windshield $299 at 221000 miles. Cracked but more importantly the rubber is giving up.

I think you'll be very glad you did once you get them out and take a good look at them… BE bearings with ARP bolts are the gold standard. Post some pics in the Rod Bearing thread once you get them removed and replaced. How long has the car been SC'd?

Haven't seen a welcome or intro thread yet but 135km / 84k miles technically December 2007 car but registered 2008. Engine spun a bearing at 113k km and the engine was replaced at that time. Tried replacing the bearings at the time where it shouldn't have been attempted due to crank journal damage but the dice was rolled regardless.

If you want to see what a new s65 looks like - well a remaned one here you go

Will eventually upload more pics but this is my one stolen from BMR performance google maps page where I left a review. Mine is the silverstone blue metallic on 359s. New flywheel, clutch, oil cooler and oil feed lines along with braided brake lines were fitted at the same time. Since there it's had new brake discs, pads, fuel injectors, bank 2 post cat o2 sensor and is current at the garage due to a fault with either the wiring or DME with said sensor. Looking at flashing the DME to 240/241e after I get it back and fully refreshing the suspension next. Really attracted to the sachs coilovers particularly with how they've improved the travel by being inverted and also combined coil on strut as opposed to separated on the rear.

2013 E93, purchased with 31k 3 years ago and currently at 72k (wife loves driving it)
Did the rod bearings right away (TrueAutomotive in Lawrenceville, GA)
Replaced the TA's at 62k when I had to pull the plenum to replace the tank vent solenoid
Recently replaced the 3 button module on the center console (EDC wiring was pinched and shorted)
Got in on the Mpower Vanos covers group buy and will have those done shortly.

I've been doing my own work all my life, but I've been having issues with my left hand/arm and recently was diagnosed with ALS, so I'll be farming out maintenance in the future.

138k miles, went on a road trip from SoCal -> bend OR -> Spokane WA -> courd Alene ID -> whitefish Montana -> Salt Lake City -> back to Los Angeles
No problems, tpms would malfunction every now and then and might have to replace the air filter since the supercharger filter is low and exposed and full of bugs, but the car has still got it.

Good to hear your car is running strong @ 138k miles with a supercharger. I'm at 130k and have been debating if I want to but a super charger on it.

all brake lines have steel belts, the only difference is aftermarket has clear rubber on the outside so you can see the steel braids.

sitting pretty at 119k hard miles. I abuse this car on a daily basis and it just wants more. 15.5 mpg?

all these posts with like 70k miles. That's not high mileage. I don't even consider 119k to be high mileage.

I see enough E36 M3s with 220k+ on them at the track to know these are built to last.

I'm knocking on 140k miles right now. I haven't been dailying it any longer in favor of my Suburban. It sits in my insulated shop. I brought it out for about a month straight in June/July. I definitely missed the car. I always managed to get to work faster in for some reason! Haha.

I purchased new pads for the rear and brake fluid to do a complete flush. The headliner drooped in the Texas heat. I have since found the original BMW material and it sits rolled up in a box. It's also time for another Leatherique application (stuff does wonders). Another set of projects. Never enough time with all my hobbies and kid's sports these days.

.......
I assume by brake lines you mean the flexible brake hoses, and steel belts you mean steel cords/braids? (a Brit dealing with US terms ).
Assuming the above is right, I've never come across rubber brake hoses with steel cords, on the odd occasion for my job (I'm a mechanic) that I've either had to cut brake hoses or have seen the rubber cover perish showing the cords, they've always been nylon cords.
That said, obviously I haven't cut ever single brake hose I've seen over the past 30 odd years I've worked on cars , and I haven't (yet) had to change them on an M series BMW. Maybe they're different??

Even if the rubber hoses do have nylon cords on our M3s, I'm not going to bother changing for SS hoses. In my younger days I fitted some to a car I had then, one of them burst on me, luckily I was stationary, the pedal didn't quite feel right, so I pressed harder to test it and a SS hose burst! Their was no obvious deterioration beforehand.
I don't recall a rubber hose bursting without showing external deterioration beforehand (although I'd stand to be corrected there).
