Standard Money Factor Vs, "Discounted" Listed Money Factor
I was told today by a CA that the money factor on a 2011 E90 is ..0205 which is what is listed on the january/February sheets. When going over the rate for MSD's, which he says is always based off the "standard" BMW factors, he told me it was actually lower at 000.20 which is what the deal would be based off of.
First, I didn't know there was a "standard" factor rate sheet (he said it's typically higher than what he quotes so nobody really uses it or goes off it) Second, I asked him if I wasn't doing MSD's, would I still be able to get the 00.20 vs. the 00.205 and he said YES. From what he was saying, the standard rate sheet which he has never seen to be lower than the "discount" rates that are quoted 99.9% of the time to customers (which is why they are never used) would be available to me whether I chose the MSD's or not and would equate to an ever slightly lower factor regarless. Is anyone aware of this?? Thanks. |
