E92 M3 Code 5e31. DCS/DBS Malfunction.

So I was driving yesterday and out of no where iDrive throws DSC/DBC malfunction and start-off assistance inactive. Driving in S5 the car auto shifts from 1st to 2nd at 3500 rpm. Autozone and Oreillys found no fault codes. Took her to the dealer and got code 005E31: DSC: DSC sensor, lateral acceleration, plausibility. Anyone else ever run into this? I've been looking for the part but no luck.

Bump. Code came back. Still can't find any info on this.

Do you have ISTA or INPA? Check your wheel speed sensors. If they are good then I would reteach the SZL center again. Lastly, check/clean the optical sensor in the clock spring. If its throwing the code, then you might need a new DSC module.

Replaced rear left wheel speed sensor. Still throwing error. Could it be the wheel bearing?

Unlikely. How's your alignment? Did you perform the SZL centering procedure in ISTA?
