oil leak?

is this a common problem among m3 owners?

how much is it to fix as i am planning on doing rod bearings and throttle body actuator replacements soon, would it help with labour costs to do it at the same time?

Your oil leak looks really bad and old , think the oil comes from your oil cap + valve cover sealing .
And yes it would help with labour costs to do it at the same time..
Advice :
You need to clean your S65 because it looks like shit !

Couldn't agree more. Where has this car been? It needs some TLC. You will be losing a lot of hp just carrying that junk alone. Do a steam clean after everything is done.

Weeping cap cannot be fixed, after a while it will return. It is an inherent problem with these car.

The oil leaking problem from our oil cap is caused by when it's removed for an oil change .
Never put the oil cap upside down when it is removed .
When you remove the oil cap put it down in the same direction like it is on our valve cover .
I'm on my third oil cap , and need to say lesson learned..
