+1 for the AutoSolutions kit, it makes an enormous difference. The stock shifter feels like stirring a bowl of mashed potatoes while the AS shifter feels like a bolt action rifle. Seriously, you need it!

I basically told Ronald to build it to whatever spec he would build for himself. It came out to ~18% throw reduction and +6mm height to account for my 12mm shorter F10 shift knob.

I hear ya.. first thing i noticed too but it doesn't bother me too much because you can only tell when you are standing above it.. I don't want to add the lip extension because I'd probably lose the whole lip on a raised road structure pretty quickly. Sadly I've never had a lip last for more than 2 years on our local roads.
