My new car...

Let me introduce myself. Turning 40 next year and have played with VWs for nearly 15 years. Time for a change
so I went with a car everybody has been bragging about for years. So far, so good. I'm selling 3 of the VWs but I get to keep one. :4)

Old school meets new school. I guess this pic relates to the drive what you like thread. Still love my dub but every now and them its nice to drive a car people will actually take you serious in.

Can anyone tell me about the wheels on my car? What's the name? Are they special? I noticed most of the M3s have the shinier wheels, which are nice too, but I thought these were unique. TIA

Congrats!

Wheels look like OEM 18" but I could be wrong. You probably see more of the 19" OEM wheels which if you like you should consider or even aftermarket. Also, search on here for painted reflector mod which is another good first one. Finally, if you have a 6 speed get the ZHP knob (also search here). Car looks nice! You will love it.

I don't know what they're called but I have the same wheels on my SGM sedan and I like them a lot.

Congrats on the car. I've also had VWs for a long time (Right now we have an '09 Jetta TDI and a '10 TDI Golf) and recently took the plunge for an M3.

Wheels are 18" and are called 219M.

Welcome! Great choice, I had a mkiv vr6 before the M...m3 is pure awesomeness right out of the box...the dubs always required work to get handling up to snuff. Enjoy! You won't regret the move!

I too have had many VWs..... 6 to be exact...... BMWs are a natural progression for a VW owner, I have had 4 BMWs now ( three of them were M3s) and am loving every minute of it! I am sure you will too!

Congrats and welcome. Great choice! You won't be disappointed... The wheels, as others have said are the OEM 219M's, however, this is the gunmetal finish, which I tend to like way more than the regular finish.

And... do you want to sell me that Montana Green beauty you've got there? Or is that the one VW you are keeping?
