Need help and advice please!

Hello everyone
i am new to this site and my first m3.long story short ,finally after waiting 3 month i got my car 4 days ago,space grey,red in side,18" stock polish silver rim,I changed my oem exhaust to eismanne race exhaust with connection pipes after an hour after i picked the car from delaer.
Since the first day i got the car, Every freaking car on the traffic or road try to race me,(a honda accort,maxima,a s550,)i swer i noticed ,they do it right after they hear my car and see it.People look at me like weird on the light or when i cruise,A cop stopped me last night ,he pulled over to my side window and he was like 'i saw that you had your phone in your hand,i said officer my phone is in my pocket and it was!he didnt know what to say , then he felt like a dick and just go,i on porpusly did not tint the windows,
so my question for you guys,do this things happens to every m3 owner or only me?

It happens to a lot of us, yes. I've never been pulled for a cell phone issue, so I can't speak to that.

I rarely get it, maybe cause I have an E90. Although I find it ironic, that the times my wife drove my car and I followed her in the company van, she got 335s and others goading her into a race, to which a few times she obliged

If you have a performance car you will get people wanting to race, part of the package.

You put on eisenman race and wonder why people look at you? You are broadcasting that you WANT to be looked at. You are also advertising that your car has some power and that will attract people to want to race you. Those things happen to those with stock M3's let alone when you purposefully turn up the volume.

And, you are getting "weird" looks because some people have NO CLUE what an M3 is, so when they hear the sound out of a full on sports car coming out of a sedan or mid-sized coupe, they look at you funny. That's normal too.

So bottom line, if you don't like the attention, put your stock exhaust back on. I suspect you do though, so you'll just have to deal with getting what you are asking for.

I'd say it might be because the way you drive, but since I don't know - I would think it's the sound from your exhaust. Your loud Eisenmann Race is likely the culprit for the complaints you have. I have an M-Performance exhaust (very mild unless WOT) and people never try to mess with me.

Brooklyn,I am little agressive driver but nothing Crayz ,I changed the exhaust of the car not really for taking any attension,I always wanted to have a load exhaust and eismanne exhaust is not really loud it just makes the car sound much much better then stock,the funny thing is everyone want to race I let them pass me ,

i dont notice people trying to race me generally. but when i do get in the mood to dice a little it seems like there are people around willing.

Well my 99.5% stock ZCP coupe gets a lot of attention. Much more than what I would have imagined. While it is not in-you-face sporty in terms of looks, it is aggressive enough that it makes people look and wonder even if they don't know exactly what it is. And a lot of people try to race me, especially on the highway.
