Went for a test drive today on a local e90 M3 and I have decided I want buy one. Have cash in hand for the right car, easy transaction I'll just get the money out of the bank, and I will pay market value. If the miles are low, individual color, or exceptionally well taken care of, and that means the price has to go up, that's fine with me. If it's one day's drive back I will fly and pick up the car, otherwise I will ship it.
I am looking for 2011 e90 M3 DCT ZCP in blue, preferably Interlagos, but will consider other blue colors. Might consider a MT but love the DCT, I think a MT should go to someone who really wants one. Would much prefer to buy from enthusiast rather than dealer. Must be
Bonus wants
No Nav is fine. Pretty much any interior option is fine, though I do have my favorites. I check the forums frequently so if you have a car you think I would buy please send me a message! Last edited by akkando; 08-12-2019 at 03:05 PM.. |

Good luck, I mean that as a smart a$#. I looked for 2 years for mine. I was open to any color combination. Living in Florida, I looked nationwide. I just bought one out of the SF Bay Area in May and drove it home. My biggest needs were ZCP,DCT and a complete service history with a clean Carfax. Just paid 34,900 for with 62,000 miles.
That said, hope you find one. I will not part with mine. |

You and I are on nearly the same exact search. I have seen a few ads in the bay area that I would consider looking at, but too far of a drive for a first check. Just curious if you have looked at any of the E90's currently for sale in your area and if you have any insight on them.

I did check out this black one for a test drive because it was close to me and is close to the spec I want. I really just wanted to get a feel for the size, weight of the car, steering feel, driving position, back seat and trunk sanity check, and hear how the car sounds when driven gently and driven in the higher rpm range. Wanted to do that before I made a WTB post. https://cargur.us/wjk9n This particular car had a lot of cosmetic issues with the paint. Swirls and scratches. Curb rash. Some blemishes on the interior. The carfax doesn't show any accidents and I didn't have a mechanic look at it. This would be the kind of car you would want a good deal on and just make peace with it not being perfect and not worry about someone door dinging it. There is this ONE interlagos blue e90 m3 for sale in PA that's WAY overpriced for a TWO accident car, 3 owners, and about 70k miles. The seats look kind of beat, can't tell about the paint, and I'm always suspicious of how a car was maintained if it has crappy tires on it. http://www.kellymotorcars.com/Vehicl...11-BMW-M3.aspx There is also a non ZCP 2011 blue no nav 6 Speed moonroof car without rear fold down seats that has under 30k miles. I would think someone would want that and just upgrade the suspension and wheels but not me. |

Curious if you happened to see the one in Dublin on cargurus? https://cargur.us/wjtpH I am a bit more open on colors, just really don't prefer black or white. Seller is not very communicative, so it's been hard to get info.
If you are stuck on blue then, yes, there are very few for sure. I might consider the non-ZCP. You have a link for that one? |

close but no cigar?
Here's another... It's a sedan, comp package with speed cloth, etc. but it's a manual.
https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/...950500157.html "5k miles on the motor and 72,500 on the chassis. The previous owner had the motor replaced by BMW as the car had experienced rod bearing failure and seized. The motor was completely replaced under warranty by BMW and has no issues." There is a thread for it. https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1639252
I want a DCT and rear folding seats. I already have a coup that has rear fold seats, I can't get a 4 door that is worse for Costco runs than my coup! I could retrofit them but might be tough to find matching speed cloth seats that fold. Maybe they can be ordered from BMW? |

also want to be clear the sale will be easy because I don't need to finance the car, I'll just be pulling the money out of the bank. |
