Rust Prevention?
I noticed some rust forming under my M3. Should I be concerned at all?
I live on the west coast so it shouldn't get much worse but I feel like I should at least try and minimize the growth while it's still minor. Anybody else deal with this? See the pics I attached. |

The subframes on these cars are very poorly painted from the factory. You can see rust on them when they're brand new from the dealer.

Yeah, I'm not overly concerned as this is the only rust besides the differential I can find. I'm probably just going to prep it then POR 15. Hopefully it turns out good.

Every E9X or E9XM I've seen in Canada has had rust like this on the sub-frame, it's just surface rust.
