Arm rest

Is anyone else bothered by the arm rest while shifting gears on their E92s? I moved it back and it still bothers me. I'm driving now with the arm rest open/up. It's the only way I'm comfortable shifting.

I still awaiting delivery of mine, but my girlfriend's dad has a 2009 E92, and every time I drove it, I thought the same thing. I didn't want to mess with it, since it wasn't my car and I didn't want to go changing everything around, but its something I was planning on adjusting when I first take delivery...

It feels a lot more comfortable when I push it up, rather then push it back... Never seem to have that problem of discomfort while shifting..

My Canadian spec M3 doesn't have the split armrest, but I find the non split armrest perfectly comfortable.
