Hey everyone!

I'm selling these OEM 18" wheels from the E9X M3. They've been sitting in my garage for a solid 5 years now.. and I found them while doing some major spring cleaning. They were purchased for my E46 M3, but there was some major rubbing issues, and as such - were taken off.

I've tried my best to picture the condition the wheels are in. The condition the wheels are in are as a result of unforgiving NYC streets. I'm sure they can be buffed out and look like new. I'm trying to be as honest as possible about the rashes and marks on the wheels. If you'd like more closeups of a certain wheel (they're labeled), please let me know!

Both the front wheels have Michelin Pilot Sport tyres on with plenty of tread. I just ordered a tread depth reader off Amazon, and will update the thread with an accurate reading when I get them. The rear wheels however, were the wheels with rubbing issues. I'll take a picture of them, but they are not usable. The tyres look completely worn, and I'd say they're downright dangerous actually. I'll take pictures of them when I get back home. The tyres are 245/40 front, and 265/40 rear. So if you grab this set of wheels, you'd need to only purchase a set of rear tyres because there's a very decent amount left in the front tyres. The front tyres were also used as spares for when my E46 M3 would crap out on these NYC roads, so the tyres were used every now and then. They were last used in January of this year.

Given the condition of the wheels, I'm asking for $950 picked up locally OBO for all four wheels with the tyres attached. I truly do not know the price of these wheels, but since they'll be coming with two tyres with plenty of tread, I'd say the price is around the right ball park. But I'm open to offers.

I will not part with one or two wheels. This is being sold as a set. I am also not interested in shipping for now. I live in the Bronx, NYC. If you live anywhere around the tristate area, I am willing to drive and meet halfway somewhere. If I do end up shipping, it'd have to be at buyers expense, and it'd be without the tyres since they are crazy expensive to ship. I'm mainly looking to avoid the hassles of shipping by dealing locally first.

Cheers!

Edit: Pictures of front tyres.

Those look more like the standard OEM 219 style 18" wheels your selling. Might want to update your thread title OP

What was your setup on the E46? I have been looking into a set of 219m/260m's and haven't really heard of rubbing issues.

I had a stock setup on my E46 M3, there were no aftermarket parts on it, but strangely enough there was rubbing issues stemming from god knows where. All I know is that the front tyres have as much tread as I've pictured above, but the rear tyres look downright unsafe to drive.

Others have reported no issues with the 219's on the E46, I'm jealous of them! After these wheels didn't work out, I had to go back to the stock 19's. 19" rims on a sports car in NYC is not very comfortable.. these roads are very unforgiving.

I'm located in CT and understand how bad the roads are I'm dying to get off my 19's even though I think they are the best looking wheel.

Yeap.. I love 19's too, and am genuinely willing to deal with them on my F30 335i because it still is a comfortable car with 19's. I'm looking to hop into an F80 M3 very soon.. I imagine it'll be uncomfortable on 19's haha.

Sacrifices must be made in order to look good!

Yeah, seriously! If someone would take the rear, then I'd definitely part 'em out.

We'll see though.. if it doesn't sell in a little bit, then I'll part them out
