I've come down to two paths - either the full ZCP suspension setup (no 359's though) or Swift springs. I know this has been debated to death but I'm still not sure which one is the best option.

the swifts have been the best spring/OEM shock setup i've ran so far. I didn't do the e36 bumpstops and never bottomed out either. the ride was pleasant, yet stiff enough (linear springs) that it made daily driving my e90 still a joy

And why not have a car seat in the back? A good daily that doubles as a performance car is win-win. That's what made the M3 so great over the years. You don't even need a track to feel the lack of rigidity and extra curb weight of the E93, which is near 7-series levels. Look, i'm sure the M3 vert serves its purpose as a cruiser to show off to your friends and listen to the exhaust note or what not. But if you're trying to play the "sporty" or performance card, it's not even close.

The car ran (and still runs) great with the Swift springs. No complaints other than perhaps the back end runs slightly too low with the M359s, slightly covering the top of the rear tires. Drop is 1.0" front, 0.7" rear.

I'd much rather listen to the S65 top down than the S55.

Drop, wheels, and a front lip/rear diffuser will do the job.

I have a ZCP car and I'm still on the fence about adding something to the front bumper to make the car a bit more aggressive. But I don't have an interest in making the car any lower and I love the style of the ZCP wheels, so I likely won't change them. Though I have been strongly considering powder coating them next time I need a full set of tires, as the finish on them is falling apart. |

Returning to factory yellow reflectors will give a more aggressive stance.

Stance it, put it on bags and get a gigantic rear wing FTW
Also add about 10-14 window decals |

I'm not sure that the swift springs alone will give me the performance improvement that I'm looking for, plus replacing the dampers w/ newer units. Spacers on the 219m's are a must I've already decided that. Swift Springs will certainly be cheaper, but I'm thinking the ZCP suspension will be better in the long run. Worst case, I'll do swift springs paired w/ ZCP dampers (and recoding of my EDC).

You could put larger tires on (255/40/18, 275/40/18) which would fill the wells more, without the need for altering the suspension. I cant remember which poster here runs this setup on his E90 but take a look through the wheels and tyres section. Also spacers as others have suggested.
Just changing springs will be detrimental to the handling. If I was doing springs I would only consider DINAN Stage 1 as they will give you the drop with no travel trade off and spring rates matched to the dampers. Consider if the small cosmetic trade off is worth the decreased practicality of a lower ride height. |

I have a similar setup to those suggestions out there. Factory ZCP suspension and wheels but I went with 275/295 ps4s. No spacers. Absolutely no rub and the tires really fill out the gap left my ZCP suspension. I can fit 1 finger above the rear tire between the fender and the front 2 fingers. The front could be slightly lower but not enough for me to begin changing the suspension. I recently added a front lip and love the overall look. I will try and get a picture and add it for you.

Nah, I don't think so. We're still very much go vs show here. Just want to increase the show factor a tad, but not at the expense of the "go" factor (I've already upped that quite a bit).
I do too. Personally, the 2011 ZCP E90 is pretty much the holy grail. Maybe with a few limerock or CRT bits but outside of that The e90 ZCP bone stock is close to perfect. Again, which is why I'm leaning towards the ZCP suspension + spacers.
