Banana Republic stuff is tailor made for the "slim fit". I used to get their XL stuff and it didn't fit me too well. I have dropped like 20 pounds and have started to get their M/L stuff and it fits fantastically.

Edit: Armani Exchange also has some great shirts from time to time. Kind of pricey though ($80-100 each).
