How to get pictures onto a RAZR v3m w/o Bluetooth?

Any ideas? And I don't have a transfer cable. I tried emailing the image from my gmail account to my phone and it went through but the image does not appear.

I just use the cable that came with my Canon camera. Do you have one of those?

If you have Verizon (which I assume you have becasue its a V3m.) the e-mail thing wont work. Your best bet is to get a "Bluetooth Dongle" off of eBay.

Garage List
Problem 1: No Bluetooth

Solution 1:
  • Get a USB card reader for the memory card.
  • For going from the RAZR, make sure all images are on the memory card and not on the SIM.
  • Take the memory card out of the cell phone and put into the card reader.
  • Connect to the computer.
  • Transfer images to/from the computer onto the memory card.
Problem 2: No cable

Solution 2:
  • Get a transfer cable if possible.
I got one of the bluetooth dongles and it @#$%ed up my whole internet connections. Then I got a 40-in-1 card reader even though I only have MMC and CompactFlash (my camera) cards. But now I have the cable which works a treat with the cellphone.

ok well I tried the cable that came with my canon camera and it worked! But now it's asking for software so I assume that would be the CD-ROM that came with the phone?

Ok so I spent 3 hours downloading the Moto phone tools from a bittorrent site only to find out that it's a comrpessed .uif file that can only work if it's burned to CD/DVD. And the only program that will work is MagicISO. So I download that too, only to find out that b/c it's a trial it will only allow me to burn up to 300MB and the file itself is something like 557MB. So pissed as hell I find a .exe file and download that and when I look at it it's an .exe but for something else - so I deleted it.

*sigh*

I want those 3 hours back!

Its actually very simple. If you have verizon phone just e-mail it to <yourphonenumber>@vzwpix.com. Make sure its in *.jpg form, When you receive it just simply save it as a photo.

Try using this torrent search... I forgot which one I used to download it. A couple of them have a bunch of viruses. You can get an older version but you gotta update it a lot of times and it'll take some time. I'll go around and try to search for one that will work.
