Tried to unlock it. Nothing happened. Replaced key fob battery. Cracked open a cold beer to celebrate a job well done.

Welp pulled the trigger on the Adro lip, purchased yesterday

I'm lowered so fingers crossed...let's see how it goes
Also applying SlipLo's at install to mitigate the inevitable.

Replaced a rim because of the good ole SoCal 101 freeway condition. We are so concerned with “equity” that our roads are absolute shit! Love paying taxes out here👍🏼

Dang, now that's a bang! Must've shaken the car and suspension up. I'm pretty sure you'll get the alignment adjusted and check the shock etc. Right about now, Texas and Florida are looking pretty good to many making the CA exodus one way journey. At least according to U-Haul statistics...

Dang!

Well...it doesn't look cracked other than the finish behind it, ya? Maybe you can save this rim with an annealing process. I've used wheelkraft before with decent results. Maybe you can send the wheel up? You can kiss the original hyper-silver goodbye, but can get a very similar silver powder coat and at least save the rim.

Thanx for the link. Yeah there is a shop nearby that says they can fixed forged rims. I do not see any cracks on inside or outside lips or barrel. Gonna bring it by and see what they can do. I’m not worried about the color really. I have a Jet black M, so I was looking to change colors to white or a mustard/bronze color anywho.

Thanks! For the E92 I think it's the side skirts and rear that they went too aggressive with. I really think that for the E90 the adro front plus the rear undertray from ABS should work together really well but we'll see

I plan to keep this car for a LONG time so I'd rather do it right for the long term. It'll probably end up being garaged most of the time like my F80 CS. Next up is a suspension overall but in no hurry.

Looking back at the timeline it ended up being 6 weeks of wait time before getting the paint PPF'd so the car should be fine. It was only the PPF for the carbon roof that was done 2 weeks after spraying additional clear.

Jerez Black. No wasnt difficult at all. If memory serves, the front seats are from an older car and do not have active headrests so I had to code them out but everything just reused existing connections.

Doing some winter cleaning and checkups. Then I found this... So much for a year of just driving and enjoying the car after spending a ton on it last year. Got my shop appointment to pull the axles, and another local shop will rebuild them. I'm going to blame the supercharger for this damage.

Got to work yesterday morning and I received the “add 1qt” message. I always carry a quart in the trunk for such occasions and waited until after work to add some prior to making the 60 mile trip as it was -20 windchill. Unfortunately after sitting all day the oil cap was frozen on! I couldn’t get it off until the engine warmed up to release it. Damn it’s been 🥶.

Car is getting a full DCT service and VCG replacement under warranty, and turns out the drivers side air oil separator has been cracked and loosely seated for who knows how long. Glad it’s getting replaced. Looks like an easy part to break if you aren’t careful removing the plenum for service.

Just turned 75k miles so taking it in for fresh spark plugs (last done around 50k), new battery, and dropping in an active autowerke air filter. The battery was giving me some discharge messages in the freezing cold temps the last couple weeks and it wouldn’t remember the date and time, so I assume it’s time to replace.

Also.. the internal system check says it’s due for a vehicle check or something at 80k miles.. does anybody know what that usually includes and costs?
