is this Normal with Fabspeed HFC ? (Large Photos)
Hi guys
I just realized that one of my HFC (LEFT SIDE) sits lower than the other. is this normal or should i get it checked out ? Regards MC

Yeah, it should be normal. I think it sits lower mainly so it'll clear all the heat shields, etc (even though you probably had to alter the heat shield a bit for the cat to clear it)

Not for sure, I'll take pics next saturday when I install them. I doubt it though..but I won't know for certain until I install.

You have to take a rubber mallet and really smack the heat shield area where the HFC sits to flatten it.
If you don't knock it enough the HFC sits like in your pics. I had the Fabspeed X and once I did this it was 95% fine but most importantly, the clearance was good. Go back to your fitment centre and do this there is a fitment movie on Fabspeeds website which shows this |

I'm taking it back to the shop to see if we can raise it up a bit, but Alex at fabspeed did tell be that its normal for the cat to sit lower on the drivers side. I think the pounding away at the heat-shield is more about reducing vibration than bringing the cat higher up.
