Hey gents.. Thought i'd share a past interior mod in detail.
Some perth members on here have these mats and were obtained from a group buy originating from member R32GOJIRA in NSW - hats off to Damien for managing the logistical nightmare of orders.. These are Made in Europe - the quality is amazing and fitment is spot-on. Price: $235 + shipping (approx $40) AUD Specs are: -Polyamide fibres -pile-weight of about 800g/sqm -tuftbacking which prevents the mats from slipping away in the car. -OEM Velcro locations -Leather heelpad (Velour also an option) -anthracite colour (referred to as savannah) -M tri-colour stitching |

Nice - these are a very good quality set that I have too! And that interior shot at the bottom is mine ...

LHD brake and shift boot rings are obviously mirrored to our RHD equivalent, and were a bit of a gamble when I purchased these.
I.e. the leather loops on the boots not matching our (RHD) tab positions on the boot rings and the LHD shift boot ring is actually smaller than our RHD shift boot ring. Go figure..? : Turns out... the boots fit fine... For those that have thought about the IND tri stitch shift and brake boots, these are a great addition to the m3 and complement the tri-colour stitching on the steering wheel. You will need to remove the LHD rings and fit your RHD rings. Install complete...! And a shout out to Jim for the transaction. |

Agree - they are a nice touch. Coincidentally, I'd been looking at these recently but the iND website says they include the shift knob as well, whether manual or DCT. Did you manage to get the shift boot WITHOUT the sift knob??

My lux h8 160s blew recently, and fortunately still under warranty, Lux replaced these immediately and they were delivered within 3 days of being notified and showing proof of purchase. The lux h8 180s were the updated replacements. noticeable difference between the two being the clear covers over the LEDs, to prevent damage during install... Very happy with LUX. And their customer service.
Installing and tightening these within the limited space we have always causes some frustration so I thought I'd share my technique. Instinctively you'd think one hand should do the trick to replace, placement is easy but tightening will drive you f#%^en mad...! For most, it is actually easier to install using two hands in the 'gun' position, and using your middle fingers to grip and tighten.. see below - hope that helps an owner planning to do an install... An even easier alternative would be to get your wife/gf/other with smaller hands to tighten the fitting. |

The long weekend was a great opportunity to get the headlight mods done, so I finally committed..this was completed in over 30 hours and I don't wanna be doing this mod ever again... it was well worth the effort tho..
specs are full blackout with Bavgruppe 3/4 DTM rings, carbon fibre eyelids and new led PY24 indicators. Anyone who wants to give this a go, set aside at least 3 days... |

I actually expected it to be longer..
a lot of uninstalling and installing for testfit to make sure fitment is right before gluing down, you need to consider all parts for fitment including the eyebrow.. there isn't much space between the outer ring and the lens cover, id say mine has no space at all.. cigarette breaks included too.. |
