08 m3 deals

so my car 335i coupe will be here within the end of the month and i was doing a little looking around and there are still tons of m3s left over from 08. if anyone has recently gotten one of the remaining 08s for a deal, could you let me know if its a better idea to go for an 08 m3 with a low lease rate. ive seen a few ads for leases in the 700s for a few m3s but i didnt have any info on them. any info or suggestions?

Hey,
I am (or was) about to order a 2009 E90 M3, but just got an offer from the dealer for a 2008 E90 M3 with 0.9% financing and $3000 off the invoice price.
I am REALLY thinking about since the changes for the 2009 model are MINOR.
To my knowledge they are:
1) Different taillights (not a big deal)
2) I think the front bumper has a minor facelift?
3) Idrive is different?

Wish I had pictures.

thanks. im really considering this too. this poor market for cars, pretty good financing and the fact that you can get an m3 for a 335i payment makes me really want to just go for an m3

$3k off invoice? That would be almost completely unbelievable for a new 2008. Jump on it if you haven't already. If $3k off sticker you can get a better deal - pretty close to or at invoice for an 08 E90.

I got a huge discount on mine too. They have a lot of M3 with manual transmission in stock here in Toronto and lease and finance rates are like 1% and 2% respectively. In addition they are knocking off a lot off the car. A friend of mine also bought one recently and a car that would normally cost like CAD $102,000 (including taxes fully loaded) ended up costing him $88,000 (including taxes and everything).

I was on the verge of buying the 335i last year fully loaded and it was gonna cost me $78,000 on the road. For $10,000 more your getting an M3 now. Which is a no brainer.

The dealer told me there would be no changes from the 08 to 09 M3. But from what I've been reading, seems the idrive is a lot more user-friendly. Didn't know about the tail lights being different. So this I gotta see.

For the sedan the rear lights are different (see http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...&highlight=e90) but not for the coupe. There is alot of info on the forum about the new iDrive......

I just got a call from my SA and he said he had a white/black Coupe, DCT, Prem, tech, and a few other options, he offered 36/12 $2500 drive off $890 (before tax). I asked him if he could do $500-$1000 over invoice and kind of shepishly he made it seem like he could but wnated me to come in to discuss as opposed to over the phone.

That being said I feel like the smae car can be had for somehwere in the mid high $800 range with tax included. This is a large dealer in L.A. that many guys here are familiar with, I've been doing business with them for 10+ years.

Guys, they are dealing on all M3's right now. I just finalized a deal on an 08 M3 Vert (loaded) at very near invoice. I told my dealer I wouldn't say the exact number - but they are desperate to sell the M3's as there are a bunch of them left on dealer lots...verts, sedans and coupes. I just checked SoCal and NoCal and found a bunch of them.

Start at invoice and work from there - they really are making deals!! I had first been looking at M3Verts back when they first came out (late July/Aug) time frame and am soooo glad I waited! Between the discounted price and 0.9% financing, I've probably saved between $10K - $20K!!
