Eventuri Full Carbon Fiber Plenum & Intake
I've been a long-time member of the forum and got my start here by sharing my various BMWs. I've come full circle back to my beloved E92 and have done a poor job of sharing the car here. I'd like to do a full build write-up soon, but I couldn't help but share this one now.
My friends at IND got me on the list to get the new Eventuri Plenum when it came out. Since I'm doing that, it only makes sense to get the whole intake and cover as well. I got it this week and man...am I in love. I'll shoot some interior and exterior audio videos this weekend and share them here, but I was shocked at how differently the car now sounds. It sounds as amazing as it looks. https://ind-distribution.com/collect...n-inlet-plenum https://ind-distribution.com/collect...-intake-system Here is my janky install. In fairness to my mechanical skills, the instruction manual isn't out yet. Before Photos: Last edited by Money2536; 07-18-2019 at 11:31 PM.. |

It's stunning. As is the entire car. I would love the intake someday although I think the stock plenum is fine. I particularly like that carbon scoop intake in the front bumper.
Is that a mode carbon front lip? Looks great |

I really thought this would do nothing, but man does it sound different. Yes, Mode Carbon.

Thanks for the video, Matt! Gives me a little more confidence heading to my own install, was a little worried with no install guide from Eventuri. I think I'm going to go ahead and swap the spark plugs while I'm at it, just need to find the time. Having the plenum just sitting in a box in my house is killing me!

Looks amazing, great video, Matt! Hope you got that fan issue fixed.
Could you have left the Dinan intake in with the plenum and air box lid or do you need the whole Eventuri kit? |

TBH,I actually watch your youtube install on the plenum, and bought it that same day that I watch you're vid. Definitely love the induction sound with CF plenum that it makes and very pronounce as RPM increases in the cabin. Music to my ears. Love your build. Nicely done.

Once installed I realised that I enjoy listening to the engine ALOT more than the exhaust. In the scheme of things, upgrading the plenum is a lot less expensive than a top tier exhaust system and further accentuates the big story with these cars, which is the S65 power plant. Further adding to the joy is the dual personality of the air box, if not at WOT it's as quite as stock but when stepped on, thunderous induction growling ensues. Best. Mod. Ever! The only regret I have is having waited too long to do it... |

I don't want to thread jack, so if this should go in a new thread or an existing thread let me know. I want to get other peoples experiences and opinions with this setup. Anyone who has the complete Eventuri intake elbow cover and plenum, do you notice at most angles the intake elbow and cover tint do not match the plenum? at certain angles they look the same but when i am standing over the engine looking at it the intake and cover look a shade darker than the plenum and it bugs me a lot.i was just wondering if its just different angles of the carbon fiber weave. Also fitment does not appear to be 100% for me, not like the stock plenum. I spent hours trying to seat this into the throttle body grommets and no matter what i did, either one side or the other would not fully seat. not sure if anyone else had the same experience. As for the sound and overall look, it is amazing and a work of art.
