Strippers Need Love Too
Hello Everyone,
So I decided I would create a build journal because I thought it would be fun to document the progression of my car. Let’s start off with a little about me, I’ve been passionate about cars all my life but in 2016ish I sold all my toys and took a hiatus to focus on school/career. Prior to my M3, I owned a Subaru WRX, Evolution and a few S2000’s. Most of them were lightly modded, just because I really appreciate them in stock form (especially the S2000’s). I know everyone likes pictures so I’ll have the pictures posted below.. Instagram: Dpewpew_ Evo S2000's The search for my M3 began in late 2017, the E92 M3 was a car I always wanted but had a difficult time justifying due to my financial constraints as a student. Options wise my preference was to have the least amount of options possible, keeping that in mind my goal was to find a 2011+ M3 w/ manual transmission, non-nav and a carbon roof. This was definitely challenging but after a 6 months I was able to locate one spec’d out to my liking in Texas. The car was in good condition but definitely required some conditioning. I’ve commuted for about a year with the car stock but recently I somehow caught the mod bug. So we’ll see how this goes lol 2011 E92 M3 Comp Package 6MT Non-nav Carbon Roof Speed Cloth Last edited by fragments; 12-31-2019 at 04:46 AM.. |

JDM EVO VII tails are so much nicer with the red. Love it!
Can't wait to see what you do with the mod bug.

Thanks everyone!
Update: - Removed the OEM carbon splitter because imo it looks incomplete - Installed Macht Schnell X-Pipe, if anyone is selling a Corsa or Meisterschaft rear section let me know! - RTD Shifter arrived! I wasn't satisfied with the shifter feel of my M3, it had some play and I can only assume its due to the wear and tear on the shifter bushings. With that being said I wanted a refresh and came across this chassis mounted shifter I saw on Build Journal's E46 M3. I originally wanted CAE but couldn't justify the price point and the fact that I would need to modify the shifter console. Once this RTD piece is installed I'll give you guys my thoughts. More parts are on the way! w/o the OEM splitter RTD Shifter Last edited by fragments; 05-28-2019 at 11:21 AM.. |

Update: Had a somewhat productive weekend!
Installed a Megan axle back, I was very curious on this piece and at the price point I figure I would buy one to test out. Overall the fitment is good, I would rate it a 8.5/10 and sounds good for the value but I will probably switch it out sometime in the near future. However would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting something a little louder than stock and some minimal weight reduction. Also was able to get the RTD shifter installed, it was kind of a headache due to working in such a tight area but was definitely worth the effort. These arrived in the mail, guess this is a teaser for whats to come! Last edited by fragments; 05-28-2019 at 11:26 AM.. |

So far so good, the oem shifter felt super sloppy. I plan on doing stiffer engine, trans and diff mounts in the near future. I'll let you know how that goes haha.
