Need some help guys.
Im trying to resolve a SES light on my car. The only code it's throwing is a 2722. Code comes back immediately upon clearing. I changed the low pressure fuel sensor and the problem remained. Today I received a new 'used' EKP module. I installed it but when I tried to code it with ncsexpert, I don't see EKP in the list of ECU's to choose from. E89>CAS to pull info>back>process ECU> no ekp in list SES light and 2722 still remains after clearing with the new 'used' EKP module. Anyone know which ecu I need to default code to program the EKP module? Car: 08 e90m3, Harrop sc, bpm tuned. High flow cats. Cars runs fine. Runs strong. Only history regarding this fuel pump issue I've had is two limp modes occurring at wide open throttle months apart. Other than that, the car shows no symptoms of any issue. Thanks in advance. |

This does not address the problem of the 'missing' EKP in INPA (which should be at ADR 17) but:
2722: Fuel-pressure sensor, signal - Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 Control Circuit Sensor value > 9.5 bar (K_PKS_DIAG_MAX) Terminal condition: TERM87 1. Clear fault memory, PKS system test 2. Check plug and wiring harness to PKS 3. If OK, replace sensor Did you check the wiring for continuity? |

the wiring and plug of the low-pressure sensor are very weak - take a look if all the pins are in place and have no corrosion.
Best of luck!
