Lol, no if you finance it you have more of a chance of getting a bigger discount, because they get perks/money when you finance through BMWFS.

msrp was $44,220. less $2,700= $41,520.

dealer invoice was $40,530.

So you paid $990 over dealer invoice.

330ci

I'm looking at an '06 330ci with performance package, xenons, and heated seats. Standard color.

MSRP is $43,500

What do you think I should offer? (This is also my 4th BMW, 3rd from this particular dealer.

Thanks,

Stacy

I just came from the dealers to check out the new E90, my question is did anybody have to pay for this " Total Vehicle Protection" for $995 and "Floor Mats" for $129. Also, their dealer fee of $489(pre-printed on a form) the guy said this is standard.

I just want to clarify things "MSRP", is this the amount when we build you own car with the option you want on your car from www.bmwusa.com?

They offered me $44336.89 out the door price for the car below.

330i
Met paint
leather
sprt pkg
prem pkg
comft acs.

Do you guys think I can still get a better deal elsewhere?
Please advice....

That price is rediculously high.

Do not start with msrp (that's the stiker).

ALWAYS start with dealer invoice price.

The dealer invoice with PP (includes leather), SP, Met. and CA is $38,520.

Check your options here.

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/bmw/....html?action=2

Go for $500- $1,000 over dealer invoice.

Also, get them to throw in floor mats, valve stem covers, key chains and a full tank of gas.

Good Luck

bbd888: Following on RGRAY's posts, "Total Vehicle Protection" is a scam, just turn this down, especially at $995!!! Floor mats and full tank are usually thrown in, especially at that ridiculour dealer/processing fee...

For your reference RGRAY and I paid invoice plus $500 (profit)+$200 (ad fees)+$100 (Dealer Processing Fee incl floor mats, full tank and valve caps)+relevant sales tax and fees...this is in DC metro area.

edit: whoops that's right $100 processing fee

I paid $500 (profit), ad fee ($200), $100 (processing fee), sales tax and reg. fee.

$43,660 on the road.

325xi sport wagon

After shopping around got invoice plus $600:
car invoice with options $36680
floor/trunk mats all weather $170
Dealer's interest almost $600
Final $37300
Plus NY state tax and registration. No any other fees.

I had another offer for $37300 as well but after asking about any other fees was told "everybody charge $140 advertisement and $49 application/processing fees". So, decided to go with offer above -- straight forward, no hidding fees, excellent repuation dealership in NY.

$1K below MSRP is too high. Go the pricing sticky at the top of this Forum and figure out your invoice cost.

FYI I paid $40,209 for a 330xi with the same equipment as yours except for the Sat. prerp and that included a rip-off alarm price. In addition, I got to drive it on the A-bahn. In fact, I paid more than I should have because I ordered before both the car and prices were officially announced.
