Recommendations for 1st mod?

What would you all recommend as a good first, not too expensive, cosmetic mod for my M3. After being on this site for a short time, I think I've caught "The bug" of wanting to personalize my car a little bit! Thanks!

most do the grills and gills... maybe emblem to me i left my emblem alone.. love the original....

then filter scoop, then maybe exhaust then wheels last.

or if you really want something cheap...

you can always paint your grills and gills if you have the right tools...

Think painted reflectors is the first thing to go on everyone's new M... The big yellow blobs are gross. Then maybe the kidney grills and side markers.

Go with window tint or carbon fiber front lip. Both will make your car noticeably more badass!!!

Thanks everyone for these wonderful ideas! I'm going to start researching them now. I did have my windows tinted already at the dealership for $800 damned dollars!!

Wow! Tint shouldn't cost more than $250. I would definitely recommend to get paint matched reflectors, and either matte or gloss black kidney grills and side gills. Those few mods alone will change the look of the car.

My tint is supposedly ceramic and it's supposed to keep 90% of the heat out. One of the reasons I let the dealer do it is because I knew they would be careful with the car. They did it before I paid for the car, so if they scratched it, they'd be stuck with it.

How would I go about finding a great shop in the PHX/Scottsdale area that I can trust with my car? I will never forget the day my brother dropped his 911 turbo off for service and it came back with a door ding. If that happened to me, I'd be writing on this site from prison!

Oh and do you mean I should paint the reflectors red to match the color of my car? Please bear with me while I'm learning all this fun stuff!!

MY CERAMIC 85% ALL AROUND COST 225$

YOU SHOULD POST DEALER/SAs NAME THAT'S EQUIVALENT TO RAPE

DON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM!!!

We sell the painted bumper reflectors. You would just need to choose your color and install them yourself, which is pretty simple. I wouldn't pay someone to install these. Shoot me over an email or PM if you need any help.

Okay, now I'm ticked that I spent so much more than needed for the tint. I won't even discuss then, what I paid for the car. I also thank you for hating people who take advantage of ladies. (You must have daughters) It's so frustrating on so many different levels. I run into it all the time. Try dealing with contractors!! Until they realize I can buy and sell them and have way more smarts than they do, I don't get much respect. (Not all contractors tho)

I bought the car from BMW North Scottsdale!

Thank you so much. I need to go out and look at my car and see just where these would go. So, I'd be able to install them without any special tools?

1st mod: replace reflectors with painted ones - I would make sure you get OEM reflectors that have been repainted. That way you can be assured that they fit well. Another small mod to consider that hasn't been mentioned is to get new pedals. This thread has some examples. I have the 3D Design pedals.

Here is a good install video for ya. Skip 1:50 into it to see how it's done and it will also give you a good idea as to where they go.
