Next season I'll try the R888Rs out again. They're mounted anyway! Perhaps my suspension was too off and making it very unhappy

What pressures where you running? This weekend I brought them down to 29-30ish hot and they did feel a little better. After my spin out had to change the pressures up see if I could get a change.

Figure about 1psi hot for every 10lbs as a starting point.

It's a figure that someone mentioned. It's been pretty close for most that follow it +/- 1 or 2 psi. I ran 31 psi hot in my 3100 lb e46 M3. Not sure how it works now that the car is 2600lbs.

I thought 35 psi hot was way too high for the NT01
I spend my track day deflating tires but still they wear on the inside faster than the outside |

These pressure guidelines sounds good to me. On my E39 M5 which weighs ~3920lbs plus me in it at 195lbs gives 4115lbs, I've found that anything over 38-39psi hot pressure results in front skating/shuddering with the NT-01 at/over the limit (car is setup with -2.5 camber up front which still isn't quite enough). I always tried to keep hot pressures at 38 in that car, and it seemed to work very well.
On the M3 I've used 36psi hot for the NT-01 (stock suspension except for Dinan FSB and Eibach RSB, pins out up front max camber) which works well (10x18 with 275/35 NT01). I have the lightest E90 setup (slicktop, 6MT, and no fold-down seats), but I've not weighed the car yet.

How much camber? I ran -3.8 for at 31psi at the front and got even tire wear. I had a problem with the rears at -2.0 camber. Had more wear on the outside of the tire.

The inside also wears... so I get wear on the inside and the outside but not so much in the center If I am faithful rotating my tires then they wear better |

If the center isn't wearing, i would guess more pressure is needed. On my C6, i run 34-36 hot, above that it got greasy. It weighs about 3200lbs w/me in it

I ran -2.5 up front and got even wear with NT01s. The E9X front suspension design is a lot better than the E46 at limiting dynamic camber change.

I had this issue on my Maxxis RC-1's. I'm at -2.8 up front and -2.0 in the rear. I was running around 36 psi hot. I contacted Maxxis and they recommended 38-40 hot. I did that on my last set and got much more even wear. Other than BBK and wheels, I have no weight reduction on my E90 so I'm probably pretty close to 3700lbs.

More pressure? That's odd but very interesting
Track season is over in the Northeast so I'll have to wait for next year to try again |

I was looking for some stickier tires since these only last me four days, but I couldn't pass up on this deal again. Thanks, guys.
