I believe he did. This is in fact the SAME exact car in the older sale link. What's odd is that seller states a financial burden but somehow was able to pay it all off. Seems sketchy already.

I am a new member on the lookout for an E9X M and its sad that this type of scheme is found here. Please save these antics for CL or somewhere else, not a forum where individuals actually care about cars.

interesting that its a "scheme" for a well off family member to pay off the loan so I wouldn't lose further money paying the APR on the loan as small of an amount as that may be. I am paying that family member back 0% interest... Lets let the car sell itself thanks.

I dont see how this is sketchy? If you are that interested in the car, do your own due diligence prior to purchase.

Maybe the 'financial burden' isn't the car note...Maybe it's something else. So, if the individual is able to pay off the note/lien prior to sale to speed up the sale process that's his own choice. Maybe the remaining balance is $1k, maybe its $15k, who knows, who cares!

If you are not interested in the vehicle, catching bad vibes, don't agree with sellers antics, simply move on. SMH

True. Which is what I am doing currently. But whats odd is that info of the car being paid isnt included/updated in the sale post. Had i not researched i would not have known and based it alone on the sale post. If serious buyers are researching, i know its not just "the car" thats being sold. I guess im used to seeing more detailed sale posts including history like X amount of owners, detailed timelines, etc.

Its easy to say "let the car sell for iteslf" but in reality are we really like that? Part of private sales is also the vibe you get of the buyer/seller which i know is a factor for many and definitely can alter that 'gut' feeling. Forums are a resource and im just glad theres more to a sale post.

I can appreciate that. Thanks for the info. Based on the history you are the 5th owner correct? Can you confirm? Thanks!

Can you speak to the damage reported on the CarFax? 'Roof' reported on 2015 and 'rear' in 2018?

Thanks in advance,

k
