Carbon Fiber Roof Vinyl on E90 M3

Hey Everyone,

I just purchased my 2011 E90 M3 on Tuesday and yes I am very happy with it. One thing thats bugging me is that I dont have a moonroof/sunroof and I am jealous of all the Coupes that have the CF roof.

I am contemplating doing Vinyl and 25-30% tint all around on my Vehicle. It is AW with black interior.

Has anyone done something like this before?

If yes plz post a picture I am in the process of obtaining quotes in LA.

Contact IND, they have CF roof for E90..

Easier said than done. OP is asking a place to do Vinyl which will cost him maximum $500. CF roof will cost him $1500 + 10 hours labor.

OP, check with LTBMW.com I know they do gloss black roof vinyl but not sure if they do CF vinyl as well. I am very sure they can do it for you though. Good Luck!

Personally, I wouldn't do the fake carbon fiber. People can tell when something is fake. I can always tell when my wife is faking it.

I would love to get the roof. It'll cost about 2000-2500 in labor though. Maybe I will vinyl for now and get the cf roof later when it starts to rip. I have a company offering me 3M cf vinyl for 250 installed. Worth it?

Woww paymon, you got an e92?!
I wouldn't go with the carbon vinyl. On AW, i'd either go with satin or gloss black, preferably gloss. The carbon vinyl is also a little more expensive than the standard colored vinyls. Text me or PM me if you need any more info. I don't know if you know, but I used to wrap cars.
