Feeler: Stabilizer rods on arkym front splitter...Yay or nay?
Re-installing my arkym lip soon and thinking about adding the shiny stabilizer rods to the front splitter. What are your thoughts on a mod like this? Anybody?

I think they're tacky unless you have a track only car.

I was going to do it on my Vorsteiner front lip. It looks nice. But then I was told they'd have to drill into the front bumper and that made me change my mind. Do I think it looks nice? Yes, I think it looks great. But the day I mess up my lip, which with time it WILL happen, I have holes in my bumper!!!

same thing can be said about ANY car then, no reason to call anything rice according to your logic. But M3 drivers are quick to call them out, yet they do the same exact thing to their car but just because its a "M3", its immune to being riced out?
I dont care if you have a huge wing and use it on the track, then keep it there and remove it for the street. The same reason why some M3s have certain mods is the same reason some japanese cars have certain mods, but when its done on a Japanese car its rice? I see alot more import cars at the local track days than I do BMWs let alone euros.

Pinhead is correct to a certain point. The huge wings and things like that is totally rice unless you have a reason for it b/c of the track. But, I guess I kind of fall in the rice section a bit b/c I really like the hinges. I just didn't want to drill my bumper. But try to keep your car as clean as possible. I don't regret NOT putting on the hinges.
