Strange wheel residue

Ive been noticing some strange residue on the e92 GTS satin black wheels i recently upgraded to. Any one else see this?

Used goo gone and it was slightly better but remains in certain areas. Any ideas on what this could be?

Attached two pics -one before and after.

Do you park outside? Kind of looks like dry cat piss...

Cat piss is highly acidic and on a hot wheel it will etch itself into the finish.

I dont. It is on all 4 wheels so I highly doubt it but now I have learned something about cat piss.
