Been sidelined for several weeks now waiting for my splitter to be repaired. In the meantime, I picked up a new (to me) enclosed trailer and sold the Trailex. Though I absolutely LOVE the diesel Cayenne, it's just not an appropriate tow rig for a 24' enclosed. So.....I went a little crazy (couldn't resist the massaging seats) and picked up this beast today.

Haha, thanks! I do absolutely love the Cayenne. Problem is, with a 24' enclosed, the wheelbase is too short for safety and tongue weight would exceed Cayenne spec.

very nice! i see you got the ultimate package. the downpour metallic with the alpine umber interior is a very nice color combo. nice pickup.

This is how people end up buying stackers so they can "split the weekend haul costs with their buddies". We're gonna "Save SOOO MUCH MONEY bro"

RIP your fiscal restraint, soon as you remove one limiting factor in the rig you'll max it out some other way

Also, excellent color choice. Thank you for not buying black or white or silver.

I'm desperate to keep the enclosed life going while also downsizing from the Tundra and not finding anything is worth the hit on either space or tow safety. Also my now 17 year old trailer is basically one lawn mowing season away from the scrapyard if I sell it so, womp womp

Haha. For me, the stacker concept would not be about cost savings but more about having a more convenient way to spend time with buddies. The good news is that this rig is plenty capable of towing pretty much anything considering its 36,000 lbs capacity.

I'm not big on black cars and white trucks all look like work trucks to me, which is partly why this color was so attractive.

The enclosed trailer is pretty cool upgrade for me because I plan on storing the car in it and getting my garage back!

Crazy to me how these trucks are now heavily into CDL territory.

okusa Curious if you had considered an Aerovault with the Cayenne?

Ya, the max trailering package includes 3500 frame rails and leaf spring. It's a technical workaround for those wanting 3500 capacity in a 2500. I was not looking for that feature, but every truck I found that I liked was already spec'd with it.

I did briefly look at them but I wanted something with more interior space.
