Awesome to hear.
Question for you, do you still retain the OEM Power Steering Reservoir, or is that eliminated with this setup?

Any pics of the setup installed, Adam?

Does anyone know the model year range for Mercedes A class pump? The one in the M24.de kit.

For all who are interested, I actually have come up with another solution using a TRW/Porsche Cup car pump, mounted remotely in the trunk. If you use the right size AN/Hydraulic line, there is not much pressure loss.

After using the MS24 type kit for a year, while it works well, it is a pain to have to service it and get to the oil filter housing gasket/drop subframe etc with it installed. I wanted an easier serviceable solution, so I ran the the cup car pump in my trunk, and ran the lines from the trunk to the engine bay along the brake/fuel lines.

I am fixing to do a write up. Performance is on par with the MS 24 kit, and it offers a bit more assist (100bar, over the 80bar the merc pump offers). Which is nice for dicey situations where lock to lock or quick slow speed movements are required.

Still in a bit of a testing phase with this I have a 2 day event next weekend that will really put it through its paces. I have about 100 laps so far and all seems well.

Thanks man. I am back to the track mid April and was hoping to do the conversion before then. Good luck next weekend.

The only update I have is I have about 10 guys that I’ve built kits for, and all of them have had positive feedback, including the Open Theottle racing e92’s, they have over 400 hours combined on the setup.

I have approx 20 hours on my kit in 2023, and just did another 5 hours at Sebring on Sunday with it.

I am fixing to “go live” with my kit on my website soon. It’ll be fairly priced compared to the MS24 offering, and for those that want to keep AC, it’ll work.
