Item Interest

Fellow e9xers,

Just wanted to through this out there to see if there is interest.

I'm partnering with a fellow member of this community to bring products at a much lower price by leveraging economies of scale.

I wanted to gauge if there would be interest in bring a group of you together to acquire custom, made to order, carbon steering wheels.

The poll is meant to determine the mix ratio of DCT to manual wheels.

Please vote and comment. This is just a discovery exercise for now so we appreciate your feedback.

Thanks for the votes guys... Looks like DCT is definitely up there.

Any concern with ordering wheels with cut out but not the paddles? I'm thinking folks would want to transfer their own.

Everything else is customisable.

Top, bottom, handgrip material, color.

I think without paddles; there are plenty out there to customize or you can swap in your OE paddles if you want to save cost. Adding paddles may put the minimum cost above a threshold for some that are interested. If you have a design or partner, perhaps a volume option?

this is exactly what I'm thinking... I'm negotiating price.

I'm not liking the price I'm getting as it is only marginally lower than what is already out there. Trying to find the volume threshold to help drop the price.
