A lot of people have this confused... This is the Armor All RIM protectant... you apply it to the rims, not rubber or trim. It has nothing to do with the dressing you put on plastic/tires/interior.

Picked some up from Ace Hardware this week (overpriced, but I was already in there).

Thanks, Chris.

Gotta pick some up soon!

Prior to this post/vid I was also under the impression
that Armor All products weren't recommendable to use, can't wait to try it out!

Love this stuff! Takes a fraction of the time to apply compared to wheel wax (just sprays on), works better, lasts longer (few weeks). Haven't tried on my matte graphite wheels but use on my wifes x5. I have couple different types of wheel max and maybe they make the wheel little easier to clean but overall I like the armor all product much better.

I actually wanna try this stuff. Car is garaged and properly protected so washing isn't done that often. Application wouldn't be costly for me

Ive been using this stuff for the last few months. I sprayed one coat on my wheel maybe 2 months ago. The first whole month, my wheels were completely clean and cleaning them is breeze. After one month time, the effectiveness wears off

I need to get me some of this. Sucks to clean your car for hours only to have the wheels dirty the next day.

+1, this is true. Just be sure to apply it with a couple coats and allow adequate drying time.

This is stuff pretty amazing - I've had three BMWs over the past 20 years, among other cars, and have never found a solution to the brake dust problem until this spray. I cleaned the wheels and barrels thoroughly w/soap, water and a set of wheel woolies. Liberally sprayed the protectant on the face, on the spokes and into the barrel between the spokes. Let it sit for a couple of hours before driving. So far, this week, the wheels are pristine. It's a surreal thing to see clean BMW wheels after a week of driving.

Sounds like an infomercial, but I'm really impressed so far. Only downside is that the bottle is very small. Can't see more than two applications (4 wheels per application) coming out of the bottle - which cost $12. If it lasts 4 weeks, I think it will be worth it.

Autozone etc. has an economy size bottle I found recently for $14 and it's close to double the amount I believe. So that's more worth it - just FYI to check it out.

I used this on my 328 stock rims cause they're such a PITA to clean. It did help reduce brake dust buildup for about 3 weeks. I stopped using it cause the can lasted only a few times and the added time to spray on at all the angles.

biggest proof point for me was when I stopped using it and noticed how dirty the wheels would get again. cleaning that takes a lot longer and gets a lot harder and dirtier to do. you should check out the economy sized can for a couple more dollars, actually a decent deal.

So far after commuting to work this week (about 22 miles each way) my wheels still look like they were just washed. So far I would give this product an A+ Lets see how long it lasts...

I decided to try Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor instead of Armorall due to longevity claims (should last up to 9 months) I've treated my ZCP wheels inside and outside before putting them back on this spring and so far, I'm very impressed with the results. The wheels are not getting dirty as they used to (especially the front one) and they are very easy to clean with just a regular car shampoo (no wheel cleaner is required) and the water is still beads pretty well after 2 month/4 washes
Here some YouTube video C5

Will have to try some of this stuff. I used regular sealant on my wheels (Menzerna), but would love to use something that can be applied much quicker.
