I did mine at 90k kms and they were showing copper. So I intend to do them at 80k kms, around 50k miles. Then again, it's dirt cheap here to do RBs. Around USD1k all original parts and labour.

Oil Analysis is not super precise. If you do it for a long time you can see trends, but cars get a good report and do their bearings and they're terrible.

It may be possible to spot the trend
My bearings did not look that good and my oil analysis showed everything was just fine with Al in single digits. I don't think the data has been analyzed closely enough to know what's good and what's bad w/the Al/Sn bearings. 1ppm more might be too much vs. seeing a lot of Pb/Cu in the earlier bearings.

Has anyone who has Al/Sn bearings ever been given a "change your rod bearings now" recommendation from Blackstone?

Even the 'early warning sign' lead/copper ones are a hit and miss when it comes to oil analysis.

Multiple people have blown engines shortly after a good blackstone report.

Concur. I had a 48k mile 2010 M5 (they were still 088/089s) in with pristine blackstone reports from an extremely OCD owner. 5K OCI, religious about warm-ups, biggest nay-sayer of the bearing issue on any forum I've seen.

2 spun bearings.
