Get it checked out. Some people remove the clutch return assist spring to make it feel less spongy. Then some level of clunking could be normal. If its not related to that and the assist spring is still in place, some clutch failures can cause a total loss of the vehicle. See below post. A clunk noise alone does not mean you have a clutch spring problem but it might indicate one of the spring straps coming loose causing too much play. It could also be as simple as a worn clutch/flywheel.

my clutch is pretty noisy but i just assumed it's normal
mine's a 2008

i do hear a single metallic clank/clunk after i reverse and stop (like out of my parking ******* ... but it sounds like it's coming from the rear

edit - actually started paying more attention after posting this
the clank noise is coming from the front, not rear
it was hard to pinpoint the source of the noise when i'm hearing it from one side window

why did the OP delete his post?

Glad to hear I am not the only one, I get a clank sound (very metallic) from the passenger rear after coming from reverse and also under deceleration. Its hard to hear under deceleration as you can only hear it in first and second and at slow speeds (wind noise im sure cancels). I had it on a lift yesterday and couldn't replicate it, put it on an alignment rack, rocked it back and forth with one of our techs under the car, we could hear it but not locate it. Sounds like this is a little more common that I thought. My car has 100k on it.

So many variables. I have seen loose brake pads and a bad ebrake make clanking noises.
