Joined the E90 M3 family finally

Hello everyone,
Long time member and M3 enthusiast with a new toy to share. I recently purchased a 2008 M3 Sedan from a wonderful owner (and now new friend!). This is my first V8 ever and I love it.

I've been fortunate to have a few M cars in recent years. I had a 2006 M3 coupe Competition package that I miss often (needed bigger car for kids), and most recently my 2015 M3 Sedan. Had three Honda S2000s and a Subaru WRX STI sedan sprinkled in between for fun too. It was quite telling driving the 2008 and 2015 M3's back to back.

2008 M3 is Jerez black over Fox red, 6 speed manual, navi/sunroof. Very well kept and all stock other than BBS wheels. Maintenance is up to date. Definitely tempted to buy an exhaust, intake, etc but for now will keep her stock and do my homework. If any local E9x guys are around let me know, would like to meet some new friends.

Did you pick this car up from another forum member? I only ask because I almost pulled the trigger on a 2008 Jerez over Fox E90 that looked exactly the same from Texas...

In March I also picked up a E90M - 2010 Jerez over black leather. I'm coming from small Japanese sports cars and E46Ms myself, but there is just something so special about these S65 motors...downshifts are heavenly. Everyone should do some level of exhaust on these cars to turn up the volume a bit

I found the 2008 M3 in Ohio from an enthusiast who took great care of the care. I honestly didn't "need" another car but when I saw it I had to have it. Honestly black colors are not my favorite at all (I wanted red first, blue second, maybe silver), but when I saw the car in person Jerez black has a blue-ish undertone and I loved it.

Miss my S2000s and E46 M3 but I'm happy with the V8 in my garage finally. Would like to meet some locals too.
