Replaced the turner one with this last weekend, pretty straight forward and took my time to ensure everything was lined up perfectly. Only issue I had were the screws were a tad short to mount my GTS lip at the front as well, but forced it at the end. At first the pipes' rubber holder did touch against the skid plate so I just bent up the brackets holding them up slightly and that did the trick, no more downward pressure on the skid plate when finished with the install.
The turner one was just too heavy and over-complicated, I remember it took me more than half a day to install that thing, sold that and got this instead and very happy with it. Only OCD thing is why don't these arrow shapes point forwards instead of backwards? Last edited by Fezza; 06-24-2021 at 02:01 AM.. |

Since our panel offers the most ground clearance of any option, a common question we see relates to the power steering pipe and its potential contact with the undertray panel. As cars age and services are performed, parts are disturbed, mounts are removed/reinstalled in different heights, owners may find that the pipes sit lower than they used to. Every car will be different, and luckily, adjustment is simple during installation.
Attached below is a quick photo of an installation in an all original 12k mile car. This is the original, factory installed position of the hoses which maintain at least 1/2" of clearance from the tray. Most installations we see clear the pipes with room to spare. If not, the solution is simply moving the pipe upward to clear the panel. |

First post. So glad I found this! I just bought an e93 a couple weeks ago and noticed the OEM belly pan destroyed. Was about to buy the Turner skid plate set until I checked these forums for reviews and found everyone recommending this instead.
Looking forward to receiving my order and having some peace of mind that my underside will be protected for many years to come! |

Just installed my mporium undertray today. It’s a nice piece. Took me about 1.5 hours to install; but I took my time (making sure everything lined up just perfectly).
It’s so good to have peace of mind, knowing my underside is protected better now than ever. Thanks deansbimmer and crew!! |

Can someone please tell me what size drill bit is needed for this? When I installed mine, I only had a slightly smaller size when installing and a lot of bolt heads snapped off.
I don't have the instructions anymore but want to fix this one of these weekends. Thanks! |

Don't use an impact on the screws or over torque them. It should be easy to identify the point at which the screws are at risk of breaking. If in doubt, Back it out and reapply torque to the screw to create the threads without snapping them. |

Thanks for the reply back, i'll try to drill out the stuck screws then re-try. Other than my genius error, great product! |

For all those using this Mporium alu undertray, has anyone noticed any difference with the front end handling or fuel economy since the front wheel air deflectors are removed?
I'm thinking of getting one and wondering if it's worth the effort to put back the front air deflectors using cheap E9x non-M parts (p/n 51627136525 and 51627136526). |

ESS SC air filter clearance
deansbimmer Any fitment issues for an e92 with an ESS supercharger kit? The air filter sits all the way down there, but seems like it will clear the plate, and maybe just the bottom corner of it will touch. Just making sure before I order. Thanks.
