Make the drive to lake forest and have MRF do them. Worth the trip.

Or come to the valley. JMP Autowerkz in Canoga Park. Typically it's ~$2,200 parts and labor

I wish I went to MRF....I went somewhere else to save a couple bucks and now wish I went to MRF so I could have full confidence everything was done right.

Don’t pick a place on price.

I have a friend with an e90 who's also a fan of JMP but I have no personal experience like I do with MRF.

My car will actually be making a visit to MRF this week

had my car there at MRF for rod bearings this past March. Be prepared get a rental because rod bearings takes more than a few hours and nowhere to sit due to COVID19.

AutoTalent is closer. They helped develop BE bearings.
They're the distributors for BE Bearings.
They don't ask anyone to post positive reviews.
The popular shop here has had issues, BIG issues on my buddies car.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I'm not saying any shop is perfect and people having a positive experience at a given shop is always subjective.

But LOL at the insinuation at the "popular shop" here asked to post positive reviews. Perhaps that's true for some but I've never been asked to share anything about any of my experiences.

I've only shared my positive experiences on the forums because I've been the recipient of good info from others here too that's helped me along the way.

AutoTalent in Gardena makes the BE Bearings. About $2200 for the service.
Do a BlackStone oil test before and after.

Have them look over your 08 M3 front to back while it is there for 2 days.
A 2008 M3 would have the most issues, since it is the first year of the E9X M3 S65 with DCT.

Good luck...Interlagos Blau!

Cheers
