Help: I Want Cheapest-Safest Black Rim/Tire Option for E93

Hey Fellas!

Long time no talk.

One of my Advan RS-D's blew up(two cracked spokes) 7 months into its existence. The good boys at Renn-Spec are working on a warranty claim for me now.

In the meantime, I need 4 Black Rims and sadly "tires"

I live in Las Vegas and am considering buying after market rims/tires at Discount Tire/Big O or some local shop (I don't have any Tuner Shops I'm Friends with in Vegas-if you can recommend or point me in the right direction-please do)

I'd like to spend under $1500 for everything if possible as I just started a New Business and funds are tight.

I'd also consider buying some OEM 19's from somebody looking to unload at a discount. I will BUY TODAY as I need to get my car back ASAP.

Please email me at musclecouple@gmail.com if you can help or offer advice/suggestions on what rims/tires to get. You can also text me on my cell:

818-822-0501

I'd appreciate your help.

Jay C

VMR V710s maybe? shoot one of the guys from EAS or any of the other venders for a quote. I bet you could get pretty close to your budget.

The VMR's are definitely affordable... can probably get them with new tires for under $1500.

What happened with your RS-D's? Did you go over a pothole? Worried about mine now =(

No idea bro. Didn't. I'm fairly certain it's a manufacturers defect. But who knows? It's pretty sad either way considering I only had them for 7 months.
I'm hopeful the guys at Renn-Spec can get me a warranty replacement.

I'll look into the VR-710's. What about anything cheaper at Discount Tire? Do they have anything of quality there?

Did you see this? Seems pretty perfect since you would then have spares.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

think i ran into you one night a while back. i was in a alpine white e90 M3 and driving next to you. anyways, good luck. ive purchased some wheels from discount tire before and have never had a problem with them. they can get most of the big brands of wheels.

Thanks for the support

OP: If you want us to set you up with some wheels really quick, we can certainly do that. I remember you from a while back, you used to visit us quite often back in the day, so you know how we work. Just let me know if there's anything we can help you out with

Where your OEM wheels? Can you just run those since it's temporary? I know they're not black but you already have them.
