TCKline EDC friendly spring kit
http://www.tcklineracing.com/webdocs...Details760.cfm
Has anyone tried these? Seems like a great solution for the part time track car. I still love EDC but would like some more camber and a tunable ride height.

I know, I got an email from TCK. Hoping that someone jumped on them already or was involved in testing.

Revive this thread, because Craig I was wondering the same thing.
Also great video. Figured out why the M coupe was overheating, faulty coolant temp sensor. |

What spring rates? Let me know if you're going to Sebring after you get them...I want to check them out.

My problem with these sleeve kits is that they cost about a grand or in TCKs case 1300.
If you're patient you can find a gently used set of KW V3s for 1800. I say thats well worth 500 dollars. |

Craig Bimmer magazine has a good article on the TC Kline kits, both EDC and coilovers on a E90 M3.

I don't think EDC can handle those rates. TCK had some guidance but it was like 350/500 IIRC.

You're right. Maybe I'll just do coilovers, I'm tracking this car actually more than the E46 which had TCK's. Stock suspension isnt doing it for me anymore.

Craig you're pretty quick and skilled on the track, these EDC kits are not gonna cut it for you man. If I remeber correctly you had TC Klines on your M coupe, coming from that, these definitely won't do it. I think you're better off spending a little more and getting full coils.

Exactly why we designed the kit in the first place
TC tested this kit at Laguna Seca with R-compound tires, on the streets, and canyon roads in California and the fastest set-up was 350f/600r. Stock is 180/550. Quote:

Again, for those of you who want to retain your EDC, this is a great kit.....but if you are spending alot of time at the track, our DA's proved to be much quicker than our EDC kit (as it should be). |

Well you're right, these EDC kits are a bit more expensive than other brands, but from experience TC Kline makes very, very good kits. I had a set of their coils on my previous M3 E46 and it was amazing.

Not disputing the quality and the R&D. I have driven TCK SA & DA setups with the e46M3 as well. They just priced themselves out of the market for this application/solution. I have tried to justify it for myself (Currently using KW Sleeve Overs) and I simply cant
