But seriously, the interior fit and finish is a bit lackluster for a car in that price range. Otherwise, the car is a beast and tons of fun to drive. I kind of wish I had AWD on days like today. I'm driving around town like an old lady; though I probably should have switched to winter rubber already...

The GT-R interior is not nicer but I will say this: My 9 year old 100K mile $30K Nissan 350Z had fewer squeak and rattles and simply felt more solid than my 4 year old 50K mile $70K BMW M3.

I know which one I would rather be in. The entire M3 dash is plastic/rubber. The entire door panel on the M3 is the same plastic and rubber. The GTR uses the same type of plastic as the M3 for dash components, but accompanies it with leather on the dash and the door. You also get nice carbon fiber fittings in the Black Edition. I have seen plenty of M3 interiors that look terrible with some age.

This post is completely subjective however, so don't get mad and call me a troll.

GTR interior looks sporty, M3 is just ok, (bland), IMO.

It always cracks me up when people talk of the the M3 or 3 series interior. My girlfriend flew back last weekend and her two girlfriends drove out from canada. I gave them a ride in the M3 to the night club and damn friend in the front seat took a photo of the center console to show all her friends back in Canada how boring the BMW was inside. Posted the shit on instagram! She had never been in a BMW and thought her new Hyundai was a lot better interior. I have no idea what provoked her to do such a thing. She was kinda right though. She asked why is there a big "blank" spot below the AC and why is it so plain. LOL. GRRRR WOMEN. I checked out her Hyundai Sonata and she was actually right. The lines flow better and is a pretty damn good lexus knock off for 1/3 the price of the BMW.

Still cracks me up someone out of the blue was asking "so how much was this car?" Now I think she has a point. It doesnt look all that good. Sure doesn't flow very well, but in my opinion, the user controls are in the perfect spot on the BMW and the Hyundai are far out of reach. My business partner hates riding in the car cause he says its all plastic so we take his cayenne. HA.

I agree in part but the Hyundai is a little overkill with buttons and huge signage

Weird, my fathers 2007 350z interior is the worst interior I've seen in any car in terms of durability of materiels, all the materiels are chipping and fading and the drivers seat is all faded and probably has a hole now on the bolster, he only had 25k miles on it, that was 2 years ago! And practically the same story for two of my friends who had G35s, I always found Nissans interior to be mediocre in terms of quality, but I can atest that I was impress by my friend GT-R, but kind of normal I guess since it's a 100k car!

Hyundai interior nicer than M3 interior

GTR interior nicer than M3 interior - GTR interior looks like a video game plus there's no comparison between the GTR and M3 exteriors, at least IMO.

I love GTRs more than most but come on guys. The interior is it's objectively weakest point. And its not even close to a higher end Bimmer. I have always thought nissan should play the Porsche game of having tons of upgrade options. I would have spent a mint on getting a better interior.
